BCI training reduced Phantom limb pain

Using Brain-computer interface based on magnetoencepharography signals, which estimates the motor cortical currents, a virtual phantom hand image was controlled. When phantom limb pain patients were trained to control the BCI phantom hand image for three days, their pain significantly reduced for five days. We are aiming to apply the technology to clinical use.
